Understanding RSI in the CSE Context
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) measures how fast and how much a stock price has moved over a recent period. An RSI above 70 suggests a stock may be overbought. An RSI below 30 suggests it may be oversold. On the CSE, where liquidity varies significantly across sectors, RSI signals can be particularly sharp.
How to Set an RSI Alert
RSI Alerts Are Prompts, Not Trade Signals
A stock can remain overbought for weeks during a strong trend. When an RSI alert fires, use it as a cue to investigate: check volume, sector movement, recent news, and your overall exposure to that name.
Set RSI alerts alongside price level alerts on the same stock. When both fire together, the confluence is a much stronger reason to act.
