The Screener to Watchlist Workflow
Running the screener and finding interesting results is only useful if you act on them. The fastest way to act is to add screener results directly to your watchlist and set alert rules immediately. This takes 2 to 3 minutes per stock and ensures the opportunity does not get lost in a list of stocks you planned to investigate but never did.
Limit yourself to adding 2 to 3 stocks from any single screener run. Adding 10 stocks at once means none gets proper attention. Two or three well-researched additions per week builds a better watchlist than mass importing screener results.
Tracking Screener Results Over Time
Stocks that appear repeatedly in the same screener filter over multiple weeks are worth extra attention. A stock that stays in the RSI-oversold range for several weeks without recovering may have a structural problem. One that appears oversold once and then recovers quickly is a more typical recovery candidate. The watchlist lets you observe this pattern without making a premature entry.
