Investography Free vs Starter Plan: Which One Is Right for You

The Free and Starter plans on Investography are both designed for investors beginning their CSE monitoring journey. Here is what each includes and when Starter justifies the upgrade.

Free Plan: What You Get

The Free plan is a genuine, fully functional tier for casual CSE monitoring. You can add up to 3 stocks to your watchlist, receive up to 30 alert deliveries per month via email, access the market calendar, view stock charts, monitor the market overview, and use the discover page to browse all listed stocks. There is no time limit on the Free plan — you can use it indefinitely.

Starter Plan: What Changes

When Free Is Sufficient

Free is sufficient if you hold fewer than 3 stocks and are primarily using Investography to monitor your existing positions. If your investment activity is limited to 1 to 2 trades per month and you are comfortable receiving alerts by email only, Free covers your needs without cost.

When to Upgrade to Starter

Upgrade to Starter when you regularly exhaust your 3 watchlist slots, when you find yourself wanting to track more than 30 alert conditions per month, or when you want in-app notifications for a richer platform experience. Starter is the right entry point for investors actively building a CSE portfolio across 5 to 10 stocks.

If you are deciding between Free and Starter, spend one month on Free and count how many times you wished you had more watchlist slots or more alert quota. If the answer is multiple times per week, Starter will meaningfully improve your monitoring quality.
