What the Portfolio Filter Does
When you select the Portfolio view in the dividend filter bar, the calendar hides all dividend ex-dates except those belonging to stocks in your active portfolio. This removes noise so you can focus only on the events that directly affect your returns.
How to Activate It
Keeping Your Portfolio Up to Date
The filter reads from your live portfolio, which you manage under the Portfolio page. Add your holdings there first. Once your positions are entered, the Portfolio filter in the Calendar will reflect them accurately. Pro and Premium users can also log buy and sell transactions to keep positions current.
Review your portfolio holdings at the start of each month, then switch to the Calendar with Portfolio filter active. You get a clean, forward-looking view of every dividend event relevant to you this month.
Combining Portfolio Filter with EOD Summary
After a dividend ex-date passes, click the date cell to see the EOD summary for that day. Check whether the stock's price adjusted as expected on the ex-date. This helps you assess market sentiment around the dividend event and refine your approach for future cycles.
