What the Portfolio Page Shows
The Portfolio page displays all your active holdings with live prices, your average cost per share, total investment value, current market value, and unrealised profit or loss for each position. At the top, a portfolio summary shows total invested, total current value, and overall P&L in LKR and percentage.
Adding a Holding
Keeping Cost Basis Accurate
If you have purchased the same stock in multiple transactions at different prices, enter the weighted average cost per share across all purchases. The portfolio tracker uses this single cost figure to calculate your P&L. Pro and Premium users can log individual transactions separately using the Portfolio Transactions feature, which calculates the weighted average automatically.
Enter all your holdings immediately after signing up. The portfolio summary view is most useful when it reflects your complete position — a partial portfolio gives you an incomplete P&L picture.
Editing and Removing Holdings
To update a holding, click the edit icon on the portfolio row. You can adjust quantity or cost basis as needed. To remove a holding after selling, use the delete option. Removing a holding does not delete any alert rules set for that stock.
